Dando vueltas

The main character was filmed in a wide variety of different performances. A total of 515 images of the character were printed and then cut out to be animated using the replacement technique on the rotating set, frame by frame. As the circular platform spins, the character interacts with each of the environments (forest, city, mountain, pond), creating a continuous animated long take.

A circular platform was built and divided into four equal sections, each representing a different environment (forest, city, mountain, and pond). Each section is made with colorful flat paper cut-outs, maintaining a minimalist style with no visible dividing lines between the spaces.
